Taking PRIDE in Our Diversity - Join the Celebration!
InkBlot strives to be a safe space! Founded and ran by LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folk, we value the community and the creatives that reside within. That in mind, we wanted to find a fun way to celebrate this joyous month with everyone. Here’s what the CE team has put together:
Pride Month Coloring Pages
The CE team has put together some lovely coloring pages for you to digitally or physically color! Help us paint the rainbow on InkBlot by posting your finished pages.
You can find all three transparent versions of the pages here: IB Pride Coloring Pages 2023
Art Challenge: Pride with Bo!
*record scratch* - “Wait a minute… Who’s Bo?”
Bo is our newly adopted mascot! We all know Tai the butterfly, who resides on our platform’s logo, but now their brand new feline best friend has joined the fun. Bo was designed by fellow community member (and Membership Drive Team Alumni): Hellnuhound, who we were able to officially adopt Bo from on April 15th. (Bo Birthday Bash in the future? Maybe. Wink wink, nudge nudge.)
Fun Fact: Bo and Tai have official stage names. Together they form the stage pair: InkyBlot!
“Oh okay! So what’s the challenge?”
It’s very simple! All you have to do is draw your OC, sona, etc. with Bo celebrating Pride! Make sure to read our mascot guidelines here before posting: Official InkBlot Mascot Guidelines. Post it on InkBlot with the hashtag: #PridewithBo to get an exclusive Pride badge! (Don’t worry, everyone will be getting a pride badge, this just means you have the potential to get two.)
Bo and Friends - Meet Bo’s Little Posse
Coming later this month, you’ll get to meet Bo’s friends and see how they’re celebrating Pride! Each friend was designed by our own staff and volunteer team, representing the diverse folk who help make InkBlot. (You can even see our good friend BCM’s own Rex hanging out with Bo!)

A Few Words of Thank You…
These last few months, updates for dev have been slow but we are picking up speed once more. The infrastructure was a huge undertaking that took 4 months and we are still working on the final phase of it. Thank you for those that are patient with us as we continue to improve the feeds.
In honesty, the dev team is slightly burnout but we are trying to keep pace with going back to 3-4 updates a month (1/wk). Unfortunately, we can’t stop to take a break so doing quick small frequent updates helps us still make headway.
Any donations to InkBlot help keep our platform going, check out our Kofi! Thank you for the patience and continued support for this team and this community!
